Madison and Tyler are Southwest Florida natives. They wanted to capture the Florida aesthetic and city vibes of downtown Fort Myers so they flew down from New York to take their engagement photos! It was a very gloomy and rainy week, so we were nervous about the weather on the day of their shoot. However, we lucked out with no rain, only heavy overcast so everything went smoothly! The photos turned out beautifully.
Fort Myers Waterfront Casual Engagement Photos
Madison had a clear vision for their engagement session. She wanted the photos to have a vintage and classy look with lots of candids. She shared some inspiration from her Pinterest board so I had a good idea of exactly what she was looking for. It was easy to photograph that with these two! They had the best smiles and didn’t stop laughing and giggling together! We started the session near Oxbow Bar & Grill along the waterfront. We walked along the dock and enjoyed the views with the beautiful bridge in the background. I loved their casual outfits and playful energy!

We snapped a few more photos in their casual outfits before they did a quick outfit change into more formal attire. For a Southwest Florida engagement session, I always try my best to get the most out of your photos! I love to include time for an outfit change and multiple locations are possible. Downtown Fort Myers is perfect for walking to various locations in a short amount of time. I love that their outfit change really complimented the architecture.
Rooftop Downtown Fort Myers Engagement Session
We were able to visit each spot that I mapped out for their session including the Edison Theatre and the rooftop of a garage to wrap up the session. When I shared the gallery with them, I was thrilled to hear the photos exceeded her expectations & better than they imagined! She shared with me that she is excited to turn the digitals into a beautiful photo book to use as a guest book for her wedding this spring at the Plantation Golf Club and Country Club in Fort Myers!
