Paige and Jacob’s Siesta Key engagement session was so authentic to their relationship! Believe it or not, it is not all about the water in Siesta. Siesta Key Beach has some beautiful hidden gems! We stumbled upon tall lush grass and a few abandoned sailboats, which created unique backdrops for our shoot. The sunset was just upon us, and it made for some dreamy golden portraits too!
Unique and Romantic Sarasota Engagement Photos
These two love birds are incredibly sweet and kind and have been together for five and a half years since they met in middle school! The first night they met, they could not stop laughing together. They quickly became best friends and soon after, started dating. They love spending time together and have had a special bond from the very beginning. Since their first date on the beach, the beach became a special place for them. So it was only fitting to take their engagement photos there.
Tips from a Siesta Key Engagement Photographer
If you aren’t the biggest fan of getting your photo taken or you aren’t overly traditional, you might be wondering if it’s important to get your engagement photos done at all. Besides taking photos for your save-the-dates, investing in an engagement session gives you an opportunity to get to know your photographer. What is it like to work with them? How well do they understand your preferences? This will help you get the best photos on your wedding day and make sure you are both a good fit for each other.
If you are usually uncomfortable in front of a camera, taking engagement photos is great practice before your big day. Plus, it gives you the time to ask questions you may not have thought of before your wedding.
After our session, Paige said, “It was fun and authentic. We made jokes and laughed together the entire time! We are so in love with our photos from this session. Lucy is more than a photographer, she is our friend.”
I absolutely love working with couples who appreciate my creative approach to capturing their love story. I always strive to build a lasting connection and believe that the receipt for creating photos is making you feel all of the sweet emotions whenever you see them.
